The International Convention Update - Part Five |
|
Day 5, Sunday We started the day with a Church service. After lunch we turned in our entries and had the rest of the day to rest until the opening ceremonies. They handed out clappers at the door and no one needed help knowing what to do with it. Over 2000 people were shouting, stomping, clapping, and expressing their state or national pride. It was pretty awesome. As the service started, God began to move on many hearts in the crowd including some of our kids. I sat with tears in my eyes and an unspeakable joy in my heart to be blessed enough to be able to be experiencing this moment with our students. We have a great group of kids that have tenderness to Gods will and moving. It took a lot of work by by the kids, parents and friends to get here but after just one night I can say it was all worth it. We are so excited to see what God has in store for us this week. Keep us in your prayers. Mrs. Dana
