The International Convention Update - Part Two |

|
Day 2 - Today has been a slower paced day. Due to rain we have moved our Six Flags trip to tomorrow. We started our day by going to the Meramec Caverns. It is an AMAZING creation of God. The highlight of the day was during our tour. We were sitting in one of the rooms of the cavern and our tour guide was giving us a light show along with music against a beautiful cave wall. We noticed how good it sounded in there and asked if our ladies quartet could sing. Our guide agreed, and the girl sang. "Come thou fount of every blessing, tune my heart to sing Thy praise. Steams of mercy never ceasing call for songs of loudest praise." It was beautiful. Looking at God’s handiwork while hearing Him be praised. It was a beautiful witness to our other tourists. A couple nearby were scowling at the first but smiling by the end. We then proceeded to the water front of the great Mississippi and walked The Waterfront Trail. There, as you can see, we couldn't resist scaling to new heights and having some fun. Lastly we braved the Arch. It did indeed take some bravery, but everyone made it and were glad they did. We are ending the night with pizza. Tomorrow we pray for sunny skies and rested bodies. Goodnight and God Bless. Mrs. Dana |
