Daystar’s primary objective is to equip Christian young people to truly know and serve God. The academy was established to serve the families of the church but has expanded it’s outreach to minister to families of other congregations as well. The school uses the Accelerated Christian Education curriculum which stresses a mastery approach to learning. Students are encouraged to excel academically so that they will be able to assume positions of leadership, as God calls them. Students often compete in local, state and even international competitions. Areas of competitions include: academics, athletics, music and the arts. Because the school is viewed as the extension of a Christian Home, applicants are expected to be from Church attending, Bible believing families. Daystar Academy enrolls Preschool through 12th grade students. |
